    What's the best strategy for exchanging currencies?
    I assume buying CHF at the airport will be a ripoff (this seems to be an international standard).

      If you have a Visa card or anything similar, just going to an ATM should be fine. Swiss banks tend to charge for withdrawals (2 or 3 CHF) if your account differs from the ATM's bank, and then the currency rates and commissions most likely depends on contracts between ...

      Withdrawing cash with a credit card is a bad idea. There is usually a 5% charge. Use only your ATM card. (Maestro or similar). All ATMs now charge a fee of 2 CHF for foreign customers.
